This activity is used to define the lead time category which is relevant for a specific range of unprotected lead time of the part types. Along with this, relevant lead time factors can also be defined.
Use the Lead Time Categories page to define new lead time categories and other attributes which are relevant in DDMRP. A range of a cumulative unprotected lead time of a part type belongs to a specific Lead Time Category ID. Such a category will also have specific green and red lead time factors (which is a value between 0 to 100) , rolling time horizons and average daily usages as well. Part is assigned to a lead time category after performing the lead time category classification. Buffer zones of buffered part will be calculated based on these attributes
