Set as Buffered Part
Explanation
This activity is used to set an inventory part as a buffered part which acts
as a decoupling point in the MRP BOM explosion.
Prerequisites
- Part should not be defined as MS Level 1 active part.
- Part should be handled by MRP.
- Supply Type of the part should not be set as dynamic order processing
(DOP).
System Effects
- The MRP method for the part will be set as Planning Method H.
