This activity is used to update the due date on the top DOP order to be equal to the demand date on the DOP header. The start date on the top DOP order will also be updated due to the lead-time of the part which is based on current routing and the quantity. If the top DOP order has supply orders, you can specify whether or not the due date of the supply orders should be automatically adjusted.
To update the due date click Update Date/Quantity, then click update Update Top Level Due Date. If pegged supplies exist for the DOP top part, a message appears inquiring whether an automatic update for the supply should occur. If you choose not to update the due date on the pegged order, a time alarm will be generated.
This activity requires, that a DOP structure to be generated for a DOP header.
