Cancel Task Cards on Maintenance Event

Explanation

This activity is used to cancel a task card connected to an event on the maintenance order.

If a task card is to be canceled, and the event it belongs to is in the Under Preparation status or an earlier status, all connected subtasks will be canceled automatically. If the event is in the Released status or a later status, the connected subtasks will not be canceled when canceling the task card. In this case, the subtasks must be canceled one by one.

To cancel a task card connected to an event on the maintenance order, select the Cancel option from the Task Cards tab in Manage Maintenance Event page. In the Cancel Task Card dialog you can enter a cancellation cause and register information on the cancellation in Cancellation Comment field. The information entered in this field will be included in the CRS Documentation: Work Canceled report.

Note: If you are working with execution logic structures, this activity can be performed from the Task Cards tab in Manage Execution Logic Structure page. If you need to cancel task cards on a manual maintenance event that is either in the Incomplete or Under Preparation status, you can either use the above steps or perform this activity from the Task Cards tab in Manual Maintenance Event page.
