Move Task Card within Execution Logic Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to move a task card within the execution logic structure (ELS). Ungrouped task cards can be moved from one execution logic order (ELO) to another in the ELS. Ungrouped task cards refer to the task cards that did not fit into any of the ELOs that were created when the ELS was generated. These ungrouped task cards are automatically grouped into the Ungrouped Task Cards node in the ELS. You need to manually move these task cards into the correct ELO nodes in the structure.

If dependencies exist for the task card in the ELO from which it is being moved, these dependencies will be removed when the task card is moved.

Note: When the task card is moved, it will be placed at the starting point of the new ELO and you must sequence it as per your requirements.

To move a task card within the execution logic structure (ELS), select the Ungrouped Task Cards node in the graphical object structure from the Execution Logic Structure page to open the Manage Execution Logic Structure page. Then from the Ungrouped Task Cards tab select the Move Task Card option to open the Move Task Card dialog. In the ELO Number field that is found in the Move To area, enter the ELO node into which the ungrouped task card is to be moved.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, an ELS must exist for the maintenance order and this maintenance order must be in the Under Preparation status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, both grouped and ungrouped task cards will be moved and placed into correct ELOs.
