This activity is used to define and edit basic data for quality system levels (QSL). Quality system levels can be used for a purchase requisition, purchase order or purchase order change order to determine whether the supplier of the part is a qualified supplier. This is done by comparing the purchase part QSL requirement and the supplier QSL qualification. If the purchase part QSL requirement is higher (low ranking number) than the supplier QSL qualification (high ranking number), then the supplier for purchase part is not QSL qualified.
