This activity is used to create templates for CRM processes. The process template, which contains a number of stages, will be used when new sales or lead qualification processes are created. The Process Type field on the CRM Process Template page defines if processes created from the template should be used for Business Opportunities or for Leads. Enter a template ID and a description in their respective fields. Optionally, enter valid from and valid to dates.
Add stages to the template. The stages are inherited to processes which are created from the template. When you enter the first stage of a template, the system automatically sets the stage number to 10. For subsequent lines, the stage number is automatically set to ten higher than the highest previously saved stage number. If required, you can change the default value.
In the Probability field, select which probability an opportunity or lead should get when it reaches this stage. If the Force Probability option is enabled, the probability from the process template will be used and the value cannot be changed by the user. Optionally, enter an instruction for the stage.
