View Resource Shift Change Log

Explanation

Resource shift change logs are created when a shift freeze period has been defined in Resource Basic Data. The change log it is possible to gain visibility of changes to shifts that impacts the resource availability and with this information re-plan work if required. Changes to shifts includes; adding a new shift or break(s) to an existing shift, editing or deleting exiting shifts or breaks. The change logs are typically monitored by a resource manager or a planner.

The change log displays information such as if the change was a new, edited or a deleted shift or break. The previous start/end time and the new start/end time of the shift. When the shift was changed and by whom.

Change logs are created when manual changes are made to shifts as well as when shifts are changed as a result of generating or removing resource schedules and capacity.

During the Shift Freeze Period it is not allowed to make changes to shifts in My Resource Shift Gantt and My Resource Shift Calendar. Also, changes made by the logged in user's own shifts are logged even outside shift freeze period, as changes that are not made by the resource manager could otherwise be missed.
