Enter Mobilization Codes
Explanation
Use this activity to enter one or several mobilization codes for the sales part.
The mobilization codes will generate mobilization and/or demobilization work
orders and work tasks for the sales part if used in a rental business process. The mobilization
and demobilization work orders are further managed from the Rental Workbench
page.
Prerequisites
- Mobilization codes need to exist in
Mobilization Codes
- Mobilization codes need to be connected to task templates in
Task Template.
System Effects
- For mobilization codes with category Mobilization a work order
per each mobilization code will be created automatically upon reservation of
the sales part on a customer order rental line. If a task template is
connected to the mobilization code, work tasks will be created from the work
list per each serial reserved on the customer order line. If no task
template is connected , a default task per each serial will be created in
the work order.
- For mobilization codes with category Demobilization a work
order per each mobilization code will be created automatically upon return
to inventory of the sales part in the rental process. If a task template is
connected to the mobilization code, work tasks will be created from the work
list per each serial returned to inventory. If no task template is connected
, a default task per each serial will be created in the work order.
