This activity is used to record the reason for winning the quotation. When the customer responds to your quotation positively, you will note the sales quotation as won. This can be done by clicking Status and then clicking on Won Quotation sub command which opens the Won Information dialog. You can open it from either the Sales Quotation page or the Sales Quotations page. In this dialog, you can enter the reason for winning the quotation.
The status of the sales quotation header will remain in Released status, and all quotation lines without a won/lost reason will receive the same reason for win and will be set to Won status. Note that only released, or possibly revised, lines can be set to Won.
The quotation header must have been entered, saved and released before you can set the status to Won.

If the sales quotation is originated from a business opportunity, then business opportunity line also will be set to Won status and lines will receive the same reason for win.
