Create Service Quotation from Maintenance Order

Explanation

This activity is used to either create a new service quotation for the maintenance order page, or connect the maintenance order to an existing service quotation. When connecting to an existing service quotation, all service quotations in the New or Under Preparation status for that customer are displayed.

Prerequisites

• A maintenance order must exist and it must not be connected to any service quotations.
• Customer information must be defined in the Customer page in IFS/Enterprise if you want to enter a maintenance order connected to a customer.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a service quotation connected to the maintenance order is created or the maintenance order is added to an existing quotation.
