This activity is used to create a service quotation. A service in this context can be the repair or overhaul of an aircraft, engine or component, it can be a service management activity, or any other type of work that an organization can take on on behalf of a customer. A service quotation is built in two levels: a quotation header and quotation lines.
To create a service quotation, customer information must be defined in the Customers page.
As a result of this activity, a service quotation is created. The service quotation will receive the Under Preparation status.
