Use this function to report a delivery of order lines connected to a load list when the parts to deliver are fewer than the parts pick reported. Note that it is not possible to deliver more than the quantity reported as picked. You also can use this function to close order lines connected to the load list. Close an order line when it has been partially delivered and you do not intend to do a final delivery.
When you use the delivery function for the load list, all the linked order lines will be delivered.
When you deliver an entire customer order in Deliver Customer Orders, only the order lines that are not linked to a load list will be delivered.
In Deliver Load List with Differences, the page header displays the load list number, volume of the load, and net and gross weights. The lower part of the page has two tabs, one for inventory parts and one for non-inventory parts. If both types of parts are connected to the load list, they will be displayed on their specific tab.
Inventory parts are handled in the details tab. They can be delivered as soon as they are reported as picked. Non-inventory parts can be delivered if the planned due date has been reached or if the order has been reserved.
You can deliver a load list with differences from Deliver Load List with Differences and Customer Order Load List.
The customer order lines connected to the load list will be considered as sent/delivered to the customer, and the quantity delivered is less than originally ordered.
The load list acquires the Delivered status and is subsequently closed. You can then only view the load list. Do this in Customer Order Load List or Customer Order Load Lists.
The order lines acquire the Partially Delivered status. For delivering the remaining parts, you can either deliver the entire order, deliver the order line(s), or connect the remaining order lines to a new load list and deliver the load list.
The customer order head receives the Partially Delivered status until all order lines are completely delivered. Then the status is changed to Delivered.
If you have selected the Close Line option for an order line, the order line will acquire the Delivered status, although the delivered quantity is less than originally ordered, i.e., the order line is not considered as partially delivered.
