Confirm Delivery Date

Explanation

When a pegged shipment order is created against the work task service material line, the service planner will need the visibility of when the material will be delivered.

By using this function, you can confirm the delivery date as below, which then will be reflected in the work task service material line Confirmed Receipt Date column.

• Confirm delivery date on shipment order line by editing the Promised Delivery Date
• Confirm delivery date of all shipment order lines by using Confirm Delivery Date command on header. When selected, the Confirm Delivery Date dialog will appear where the user is able to,
  • Set a New Promised Delivery Date
  • Update Planned Delivery Date
  • Overwrite Existing Promised Delivery Date
  • Confirm Using Planned Delivery Date

Prerequisites

• A pegged shipment order must have been created against the work task service.

System Effects

The date reflected in the work task service material line Confirmed Receipt Date column will be based on below equation.

Promised Receipt date = Promised Delivery Date + Transport Lead Time + Internal Transport Lead Time (If calculated date isn’t a working day, the next working date will be fetched).
