Enter Project Activity on Shipment Order Line
Explanation
This activity is used to connect a Shipment Order line to a Project Activity.
You can perform this activity to ship project inventory between sites and remote
warehouses.
Note: There is no need for project cost and revenue reporting
as inventory is moved only between locations (similar to transport task).
Prerequisites
- The Shipment Order line must be in the Planned status.
- The project to be connected must be in the Approved or Started status.
- The site of the Shipment Order line must have been defined as an allowed
site for the connected project.
- The relevant posting type must have been specified for the project code
part.
System Effects
- The Shipment Order line will be connected to the project activity.
- The Shipment Order line will display details about the project activity
to which the line has been connected.
- The rest of the delivery process can be proceeded with for project inventory
of entered Activity Sequence.
