Submit Invitation to Tender
Explanation
This activity is used to submit an invitation to tender to the supplier(s).
Invitations to tender can be sent to several different suppliers for the same
contract. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to keep track of all the invitations
to tender during the releasing and submitting phases of a sub contract.
Prerequisites
- A supplier must exist on the sub contract.
- The sub contract must be in any of the following statuses: Released
or Submitted.
System Effects
- An invitation to tender is submitted to one or more suppliers on the
sub contract.
- Status of the sub contract is set to Submitted, the
first time an invitation to tender is submitted.
