Appointment Reasons are used when registering an appointment that violates the SLA Dates of the work task. When sending an appointment request, the system requests appointment offers over the range of dates covered by the appointment period. Depending upon the SLA dates of the work task (SLA Latest Start and SLA Latest Finish), some offers may be returned that are inside the appointment period, but violates these SLA dates. In such a situation, the user has to register a Reason, if they accept an appointment that violates the SLA dates of the work task. The reason entered is recorded in the work order journal.
