This activity is used to sign off work tasks or subtasks (from Fleet and Asset Management) having Independent sign off requirements. When this activity is performed, and certificate requirements are defined, the system will check whether the current user fulfills all the certificate requirements for Independent sign off type, after which the work task or subtask will be signed off. Only one user is allowed to sign off as Independent. User certificates are defined in the Employee File and requires the component IFS/Human Resources to be installed.
When an Independent sign off is performed, and there are no more sign offs to be performed on the work task, the status of the work task will be changed automatically to Reported.
Note: The person performing an independent sign off cannot be the same person who performed executor or inspector sign off.
As a result of this activity, an independent sign off is performed on the work task or subtask. The work task is changed to the Reported status.
