Create Design Object Terminals and Wires

Explanation

This activity is used to create terminals and wires for a design object. Whether a design object will have terminals or wires, is configured on the class level in Class Properties. For example, a design object class for Junction Boxes is configured to have terminals, and a class for cables is configured to have wires. This can be performed in Design Object Terminals or Design Object Wires pages.

It is also possible to establish the wire-terminal connections at the From and To ends of an object. Once From and To Objects are registered for a cable, terminals of the same From and To Objects and their Locational Children are available for wire connection.

Prerequisites

Design objects of a design object class configured with the appropriate class property must exist.

System Effects

Design object terminals and wires are defined and wire-terminal connections are established.
