This activity is used to create a locational object structure. This can be done either by adding a locational parent to an object or defining a locational child for an object. A locational structure arranges design objects in terms of physical placement, such as buildings, parts of buildings, floors, levels, and rooms, which lie atop real design objects such as pumps, motors, and tanks. A plant locational structure, provides an additional navigational system where design objects and their information can be found using a familiar site location or building structure. This can be performed in Design Object page under Relations tab, by adding data to Locational Parent field.
Both the parent class and the child class must be configured to enable locational children and a locational parent respectively in Class Relations.
A locational object structure is created.
