This activity is used to create a pipe part structure, by adding a Pipe System to a Pipe Part or adding pipe parts to a pipe system. Pipe part structure decides both the placement of equipment and piping, and an estimation of needed piping materials. For example, how many different pipe types, the amount of pipe (in meters), the type and the amount of pipe fittings such as flanges, cones and tees. This can be performed in Design Object page under Relations tab, by adding data to Pipe System field.
Both the pipe system class and the pipe part classes must be configured to enable pipe parts and a pipe system respectively in Class Relations.
