Create Audit
Explanation
This activity is used to create a new audit. A quality audit is the process of a
periodic, independent, documented, and systematic examination of a quality
system carried out by an internal or external quality auditor to ensure that the
organization has clearly defined quality procedures and that it complies with
the defined procedures. When creating
an audit it is mandatory to enter a description, an authority, a company, an
audit type and an expected audit date.
An audit can be created in different ways. To create an audit from the:
- From the Audit page: Click the new command, enter
information about the new audit and click Save.
- From the New Audit assistant: Enter
detail information about the audit in the Details
step in the assistant. Either click Finish or proceed with
the next step in the assistant in order to add additional information before
finishing.
- From a compliance plan item in the Compliance Planning
page using the New Audit assistant: Click Create Audit
to access the New Audit assistant. Enter detail
information about the audit in the Details step in
the assistant. Either click Finish or proceed with the next
step in the assistant in order to add additional information before
finishing.
- From a business object in the page for the business object using the
New Audit assistant: Click Create Audit
in the Attachments section on the Audit
tab to access the assistant. Enter detail information about the audit in the
Details step in the assistant. Either click
Finish or proceed with the next step in the assistant in
order to add additional information before finishing the creation.
Prerequisites
- At least one audit authority must have been defined in the basic data for
audit authority.
- In order to create a new audit from a business object, the specific business object must
have been configured in the Object Connections
page as audit aware by a system administrator.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, an audit in the Planned status is created.
