Evaluate Configuration

Explanation

This activity is used to evaluate the configuration rules defined on the compatible unit template. It is designed to perform automatically based on the characteristic values when the configuration criteria is completed and saved. However, partially paused evaluations can be invoked and continued.

This activity is also supported by an evaluation assistant planned for handling invalid task templates and cost associations such as materials and resources. Initially it is possible enter or view the mandatory information required to complete the evaluation such as Company, Plant, Site and Maintenance Organization. The availability of the rest of the steps depends on the existence of invalids due to initial settings.

To handle the work task templates that do not exist in the previously selected site. Either ignore them or choose another from the current site by selecting the respective actions.
To handle parts that do not exist in the inventory of the selected site. Either create or ignore them by selecting the respective actions. In addition use the choose action to select a replacement part from the same or a different site.
To handle the resources of the type person or tool/equipment that do not exist in the selected site. Either connect it to the selected site or ignore them by selecting the respective actions. In addition use the choose action to select a replacement resource from the same or a different site.

Optionally, It is possible to perform the evaluation as a background job if needed.

Prerequisites

Saved configuration criteria must exist.

System Effects

The status of the Configuration criteria will be changed as Evaluated.
