Action Manual Changes for Assembly Hierarchy
Explanation
This activity is used to make manual changes to an assembly hierarchy. Manual changes
include:
-
Assigning Sensitivities
Maintenix supports the
following sensitive system types:
- Category III Instrument Landing System (CAT III)
- Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards (ETOPS)
- Required Inspection Item (RII)
- Fatigue Critical Baseline Structure (FCBS)
- Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM)
To assign sensitivities to an assembly, the
affected sensitivities must be assigned to the respective assembly in Maintenix, prior to exporting configuration data.
- Assigning Positions
You may need to assign positions to config slots and/or sub config
slots, as they could have multiple physical positions in a system or sub
system.
Prerequisites
- The affected system, sub system or configuration slot must exist.
- The status of the change source must be InProgress or New.
System Effects
- The manual change is logged in the Action Log
tab in the relevant system, sub system or configuration slot.
