Create Sub System

Explanation

You may identify new sub systems that need to be added to a change source. Sub systems are used to group configuration slots that make up a functional system of an assembly; they do not correspond to physical components.

Note: You can add images to the sub system with or without a change source. The image is directly applied on ATCM and is not published to Maintenix.

Prerequisites

• The assembly must already exist in Maintenix.
• A system must already exist in Maintenix.
• The status of the change source should be InProgress or New.

System Effects

• A new sub system is created under the required assembly.
