You may identify that config slots and/or sub config slots require modifications and must be added to a change source.
Configuration slots are equipment slots in a physical hierarchy of an aircraft. The hierarchy of configuration slots represent the assembly's functional and physical equipment hierarchy. Configuration slots may have further (children) configuration slots grouped within a (parent) configuration slot; these are known as sub config slots.
To edit an existing config slot, assign a change source to the affected config slot, and in the Affected Config Slot tab, edit information as required.
Note: You can add images to the configuration slot with or without a change source. The image is directly applied on ATCM and is not published to Maintenix.
