Data validation of updates to the configuration baseline take place only in Maintenix.
If the changes to the assembly hierarchy fail to publish, their status transitions to PublishError. Only the changes containing errors will fail to publish; the rest of the assembly hierarchy changes will publish successfully.
The assembly hierarchy changes that failed validation can be identified in the Publish Errors page, under the Config Hierarchy tab, where a description of the error is displayed in the Error Text field. You must navigate to the relevant page where the error was located, rectify the issue, and publish the changes again.
