Recalculate Cost using Interim Order

Explanation

This activity is sued to recalculate the costs for a configured part on a customer order line or sales quotation line. If you changed the configuration on the line after that the interim order was created, you must recalculate the cost. This will reevaluates the interim structure.

To recalculate the costs for an interim order for a sales quotation line from the:

• Sales Quotation page: Select the desired line on the Lines tab, click Configuration and then Recalculate Cost (Interim Order).
• Sales Quotation Lines page: Select the desired line, click Configuration and then Recalculate Interim Order (Interim Order).

To recalculate the costs for an interim order for a customer order line from the:

• Customer Order page: Select the desired line on the Lines tab, click Configuration and then Recalculate Cost (Interim Order).
• Customer Order Lines page: Select the desired line, click Configuration and then Recalculate Cost (Interim Order).

Prerequisites

The interim order for the current configuration must have been created. If there are any changes required that you want to be included in the calculation, these must have been done to the interim order.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the cost on the customer order line or sales quotation line is revised according to the information in the interim order.
