Use this activity to create a new customer warranty line. When an object with a warranty which has the Active status is connected to a work order, the Customer Warranty option on the work order is enabled if the entry date of the work order is within the warranty period of the object. If the warranty status is manually changed to the Pending or Closed status, the option on the work order is disabled. You can add the new customer warranty line from the Functional Object or Serial Object page for the respective object
As a result of this activity, a new customer warranty line is created for the object.
