Return from Service Location
Explanation
This functionality is available in Material action of Work Task. Use this
activity to handle parts that had been sent via Direct Material flow for previous
Work Tasks but were not consumed and are now stored in Service Location. Using
this functionality, user can move the parts to a desired location.
For unreserved parts in Service Location user can perform following actions:
- Create Tansport Task: Transport Task will be created to move parts to
a central (non-remote) warehouse. It is possible to execute the task at
the same time
- Move to My Stock: Parts will be moved to user connected remote location
Prerequisites
- Parts must be stored in Service Location (Temporary Warehouse created
by the system to handle Direct Material flow) and not reserved
- Current Work Task must be at the same location as Temporary Warehouse
where parts are stored.
- Employee must have no Workflow Configuration applied, or Workflow Configuration
applied must have action Allow Return of Unreserved Parts
from Service Location enabled
System Effects
- Parts will be moved either to user connected remote location or to central
(non-remote) location
