You can add removal reasons which can then be used when recording a part removal for a task or fault. When you remove a component and specify the removal reason, this determines the inventory condition and dictates the future of the removed item. For example, removed items can be repaired, overhauled, scrapped, sold, or stored for reinstallation at a later date.
Once added, if required, you can only edit the description. You can also delete a removal reason if it is not specified as the removal reason on any part removals in the system.
