Define Supplier Location

Explanation

This activity is used to define a location with Location Category Supplier if the REQMGT Component (i.e. the Request Management solution) is enabled.

If the Location Category is Supplier, only one address is allowed as Type Visit Address.

If Request Management solution(Component REQMGT) is enabled, a Location with Location Category Supplier is created and a Map Position is automatically retrieved when a Supplier Address is created in Supplier/Address page.

Prerequisites

Supplier must be defined in IFS/Enterprise with Address Type Visit.

System Effects

As a result of this Activity,

• A location with Location Category Supplier is created.
• Map Position is automatically retrieved for the Location. The Visit Address per location can be used for map positioning.
