Use this activity when you want to temporarily remove a serial from a fixed asset rotable part pool back and return it to stock. The intention is that the removed serial should be replaced. The fixed asset object is not affected by this function.
As a result of this activity, the selected serial will be removed from the rotable part pool and returned to stock with an inventory value zero (0). Once back in stock, the serial will be connected to the entered part availability control ID.
