Activity Enable MSO Dataset

Explanation

Use this activity to connect a site to IFS PSO ( Planning Scheduling and Optiomization) engine.

MSO uses PSO as its scheduling server.

MSO solution uses IFS Planning Scheduling and Optimizaiton ( PSO) solution as its scheduling engine. Therefore it is mandatory to have a online PSO scheduling server running to execute this activity.
Finite Scheduling Basic Data must be defined for the site

For Automatic MSO Mode

The dataset which is created for the MSO site will be enabled
Background jobs will be created. It is required to make sure that these bacground jobs are properly executed.
Application messages are created. It is requred to make sure that these application messages are properly processed.
Scheduling requrest to create a fininte schedule for the site will be sent automatically. It is required to make sure that all the bacground jobs and application messages are executed sucessully
