Define Disposition Code

Explanation

Use this activity to define a disposition code. Disposition codes are used to describe the fate of material or parts that are being dispositioned. For example, disposition codes are used to indicate whether the parts are in good condition or need repair, or whether they should be reused or scrapped. Disposition codes can also be related to a specific default scrap reason and/or condition code.
