Execute Update Sales Contract

Explanation

This activity is used to connect selected item lines in the Schedule of Work Estimate or Production to Sales Contract Revision, This can be achieved using the Update Sales Contract command.

Once Schedule of Work Item is connected we can manage Connected Sales Contract Items through Schedule of Work Connected Sales Contract Details command. Which navigates to the Connected Sales Contract Details page from your Schedule of Work.

Connected Sales Contract Detail consist of three tabs.

When required, you can update connected Sales Contract Items that have differences using Update Sales Contract command in Connected Items tab of Connected Sales Contract Details page.

Schedule of Work Items not yet connected can be pushed to Sales Contract Revision using the Update Sales Contract command in Not Connected SOW Items tab of Connected Sales Contract Details page.

Sales Contract Items not connected to any Schedule of Work Item can be viewed in Not Connected Contract Items tab of Connected Sales Contract Details page.

Prerequisites

Schedule of Work should be created.

Sales Contract Revision should be created, an it should be connected to the project which the Schedule of Work is Created.

Sync Sales Contract should be enabled for your Schedule of Work Item.

SOW Type along with the contract statuses need to be added to the Schedule of Work Defaults page.

System Effects

Based on selected Schedule of Work Item information, Sales Contract Items get created.

Connected Sales Contract details command get enabled for your Schedule of Work.
