Register Personal Cost

Explanation

Use this activity to register project costs that are related to one specific employee, such as travel expenses, food compensation and telephone expenses.

If the reporting company has multi-company project reporting enabled, additional options are available that can be used to select the customer company project activity and report codes. If you have an activity short name and the report code of the customer company, it is possible find the employee company activity using the List of Values for the customer company activity short name.

Prerequisites

• Report codes, type 'Cost', should be defined, and the activities to which they are connected, should be released.

System Effects

• A transaction is created.
• As a result of this entry, the registered costs can be invoiced if the report code is invoiceable.
• If the reporting is a multi-company project reporting then the corresponding Linked transaction will be created in the customer company. The Multi-Company Reporting option in the reporting line will also be enabled.
