Cancel Analysis Results
Explanation
This activity is used to cancel the data points that are not needed in the
analysis result. You can select more than one data point at a time.
To cancel a data point that is not needed in the analysis from:
- Analysis Result page. Click Cancel Data Point in the
Analysis Result Lines section, enter a cancellation reason and click
OK.
To cancel all uncompleted data points click Cancel Uncompleted Data
Points, enter a cancellation reason and click OK.
- Shop Floor Workbench page. Select the operation and
click Operation Guide, then click Cancel in the Control
Plan Inspections section for the relevant control plan line.
It is possible to close and confirm an analysis with canceled data points.
However, the canceled data points will not be included when you create SPC charts
or calculate capability indices.
Prerequisites
- The data point must have the Uncompleted status.
- A reason for cancellation must have been defined on the Cancel
Reasons page.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The data points will be canceled, and the status of the data points
will be set to Cancelled. It is not possible to update
a data point after cancellation.
- If all data points for an analysis result are cancelled the status
of the analysis result will be set to Cancelled.
