Enter Business Activity

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a business activity for a lead or account in the CRM-panel or for a supplier in the SRM-panel. Select/open one mail or calendar item in Outlook and then open the CRM- or SRM-panel. In the Recipients list, click on the three dots next to the contact for which you want to create the activity. Click Create Activity. From the contact details page, click the + icon and click Create Activity. Enter required data in the General tab.

The selected contact will be the main contact for the activity but you can add or edit contacts in the Contacts tab. The current user will be main representative for the activity but other representatives can be added in the Representatives tab. You can also link existing opportunities to the activity.

Enable the View in IFS Aurena option to open the activity in IFS Aurena. Enable the Create Outlook Meeting option to create an outlook meeting with same description, time and attendees as the activity. Note that the outlook meeting will be created with information from the activity but changes to the meeting will not be synchronized to the activity. If the Create or Connect to Business Mail option is enabled, the mail will be saved as a Business Mail with reference to the activity. If a Business Mail is already created for the mail, it will be linked to the activity. The Create Outlook Meeting and Create or Connect to Business Mail options are only visible when the activity is created from a mail (not from a calendar item).

Prerequisites

IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM- or SRM-panel) must have been installed.

As a result of this activity, a business activity is entered for the lead, account or supplier.
