Accept Quotation

Explanation

Use this activity to accept a quotation. This activity is intended for a B2B user acting as a B2B Customer.

You reach this activity by the Lobby Page: Order Management for Customers. Open or Open (Expire in 30 Days) from Lobby Element: Quotations.

Accepted quotations can be viewed in Accepted/Rejected Quotations page. If customer order is created from the quotation the Order Reference is displayed on quotation line level in Products group

Note: Accept a quotation is only possible on header level.

System Effects

If Automatic Creation of Order from Quotation option in Customer page is disabled, when the B2B user accepts a quotation, the quotation will get Won State. If the mentioned option is enabled, when the B2B user accepts a quotation, a customer order will also be created from the quotation.

After accepting the quotation, the displayed status to the B2B user is Accepted.

Note: If the quotation consists of parts not included in customer allowed assortments and sales is limited to assortments, the State will change to Won (i.e. no customer order will be created).
