Reject Quotation

Explanation

Use this activity to reject a quotation. This activity is intended for a B2B user acting as a B2B Customer.

You can perform this activity from the lobby page: Order Management for Customers using the the lobby link: Open or Open (Expire in 30 Days) from lobby element: Quotations.

If you like to view more information about the selected quotation and then reject it, click on Details button. Quotation Details page opens. You can view detailed information about the quotation and then click on Reject button to reject the quotation. Or you can directly reject the quotation in Open Quotations page by clicking on Reject button. In the opened dialog box enter the rejection reason.

You can view rejected Quotations in Accepted/Rejected Quotations page.

Note: Reject a quotation is only possible on header level.

When the company finds out that a quotation is rejected by the B2B Customer, they can change the quotation status to Lost or they can adjust the quotation and resubmit it to the customer. If adjustments made are in revision handled fields the quotation will get a new revision and quotation’s header and changed lines will get Revised status. Won/Lost/Rejected Note field will get empty as well. The company should release this quotation to be shown as an open quotation to the B2B customer.
