Replan Customer Order Lines, Batch Per Site
Explanation
Use this activity to recalculate planned delivery date on customer order
lines as a batch per site, either directly or schedule the task as a background
job. Only availability check enabled parts are included in the process to replan
Released, Partially Reserved, Partially Delivered customer
order lines based on its availability.
The Order By parameter is used to arrange customer order
lines in a specific order based on created date, wanted delivery date and customer
order priority. Optionally, additional parameters can be used to filter confirmed
customer order lines, distribution order connected customer order lines and
to recalculate customer order priority.
Prerequisites
- The customer order header and at least one customer order line must
have been entered with an availability check enabled inventory sales part.
- Customer order lines must be in Released, Reserved
(partially reserved) or Partially Delivered
status.
- Customer order lines must have supply code Invent
Order.
- Configuration ID must exist to replan configurable part lines.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, Planned Delivery Date
on selected customer order lines which are in Released,
Reserved (partially reserved) and Partially
Delivered statuses will be recalculated.
- Company Owned customer order lines having supply code
Invent Order will be replanned.
- When Created Date is selected as the order by method,
customer order lines will be arranged based on the created date. If selected
customer order lines consist of the same created date, then such lines will
be rearranged based on the created time stamp.
- When Wanted Delivery Date is selected as the order
by method, customer order lines will be arranged based on the wanted delivery
date. If selected customer order lines consist of the same wanted delivery
date, then such lines will be rearranged based on the created date.
- When Customer Order Priority is selected as the order
by method, customer order lines will be arranged based on the priority stated
on the header level. If selected customer order lines consist of the same
priority, then such lines will be rearranged based on the created date.
- Confirmed customer order lines will be replanned only if Include
Confirmed Customer Order Lines optional parameter is set to
True.
- Customer order lines having demand code Distribution
Order will be replanned only if Include DO Connected
Customer Order Lines optional parameter is set to True.
- If Recalculate Customer Order Priority is set to
True, the priority of customer orders will be recalculated
based on the priority logic and will override previous values.
- Package part lines and rental lines will not consider in replan batch
job.
