Clock OUT with Balance

Explanation

This activity is used to accrue hours to a balance ID when employee clocks OUT from work. That is, when an employee clocks OUT from work after the scheduled OUT time, the additional time worked can be accrued to a balance ID connected to the employee.

When the OUT clocking is created, the employee's identification can either be entered manually or by using a swipe card depending on the setup defined for the Out Balance button.

Note: If the Time Clock is operating in Offline mode the clocking records you create using the Time Clock will not be transferred to IFS/Time and Attendance immediately. Instead the information you enter will be buffered and when the Time Clock reverts back online it transfers the information to the Time and Attendance.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the employee is required to have an open interval in the Interval area of the Time Card page.
