Define Company Absence Scheme
Explanation
This activity is to define scheme(s) within a group. A scheme is needed
to allocated limts and to define the rules when and how the rule will be
picked when you enter an absence. Here you define:
- Period lenght and select Calculation Period Unit (Years, Months or
Days). This period will be taken into account when absences are
registered and allocated against the limits. If a period gap of two
relevant absences (connected with CSP absence function) is greater than
the defined period a new new limit will be considered
- the unit of the entitlement (Days or Hours)
- the unit of the balances (Days or Hours)
depending on the limit
setting you can have 1 to 3 balances
- you have to select a Seniority ID e.g. length of Service in order to
calculate correct limits. Together with Seniority ID you have to select
the Seniority Unit (Days, Months, Years)
- Rate 1-3 here you can define a rate as an information forwarded to a
3rd party payroll solution
- In field fulltime you have to enter either number of days or hours
for an fulltime employee based on selection in field Fulltime Value Unit
(days per week or hours per week). Thie is necessary since in limits
values are entered on fulltime employess, only. If you have part time
workers you have to enter agreement id in employee file (with hours and
days)
- you can set one scheme as default. This means only for employees
with an other scheme assigmnet need an entry in employee file (employee
file/compensation/company absence scheme assignment)
Prerequisites
In order to set up a scheme you need:
- A Seniority ID
- The absence function 'CSP' has to be assinged to at least one
