This activity is used to create a design part. A design part is a physical piece of equipment that can be ordered from the warehouse and that fulfills the technical requirements for a certain function (e.g., pump object). A design part can be created in Design Part page or Design Parts page.
A standard and design part class, to which the design part will be registered, should exist.
A design part is created. When a part number is added to a design part, a system prompt asks whether you want to create the part number as an inventory part. If you click Yes, the additional part later can be transferred along with the object to IFS/Equipment where it will become a spare part. If you click No, the additional part will not be transferred along with the object to IFS/Equipment and it will not be created as a spare part.
