Define Airworthiness Regulation Codes per Form Type
Explanation
This activity is used to define the airworthiness regulation codes that are
valid for a given part certification form type.
To perform this activity, open the
Airworthiness Regulation
Code per Form Type page and create a new record.
- You can select whether the airworthiness regulation code is a registered
regulation or other regulation. Enable the Registered Regulation
option for the regulation code(s) that are allowed for the selected form
type. Enable the Other Regulation option for the regulation codes
that are not registered. Note:
When printing the part certificate, the release statement options in
block 14 of the certificate will align with the two regulation options defined
here.
- The Dual Release option can
be enabled if you want to issue a part certificate under two or more regulatory
frameworks. When this option is enabled, the
Registered Regulation
and
Other Regulation
options will be enabled automatically.
- In the Release Statement field,
you can enter a valid statement explaining the regulatory framework
and the certificate number. Note: When printing the part
certificate, this statement will be retrieved automatically when the regulation
code type is retrieved. The statement will be printed in block 12 of the
part certificate.
