Define Complex Assembly Service Contract Header

Explanation

This activity is used to define the header of the complex assembly service contract. A complex assembly service contract contains all the pricing definitions that will be applied to the relevant product structure during the maintenance process in order to generate the sales prices for invoicing.

Define the contract ID, description, customer, valid site and dates. The effective date of the contract will be used to determine the valid price for the price lists specified on the contract. In addition, the top part of the product structure for which the contract is applicable can be specified, i.e., the top position part of the disassembly structure transferred from IFS/Fleet and Asset Management. Quality parameters like TAT and EGT Margin can also be defined at this time.

Prerequisites

• The customer must be entered in IFS/Enterprise.
• You must be connected to a site. This can be performed in the IFS/Enterprise, Sites per User page.
• The turnaround time (TAT) must be defined in the Turn Around Time page. The TAT shows the planned time, in days, for the job to be done and has to be agreed upon with the customer.
• The EGT Margin (Exhaust Gas Temperature Margin) must be defined in the EGT Margin page, specifying the criteria for how tests have to be carried out after the repair.
• A disassembly structure should be transferred from IFS/Fleet and Asset Management.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the agreement header with the Planned status is created.
