Define Other Contract Parameters (TAT and EGT)
Explanation
This activity is used to define contract parameters i.e., Turn Around Time
(TAT) and Exhaust Gas Temperature Margin (EGT).
- TAT is the duration in days the repair is to take. The duration should
be agreed upon by the customer. A delay can imply penalties for each day
the repair is overdue.
- EGT Margin determines the criteria as to how tests should be carried out, i.e.,
it functions as a quality parameter. This could be a specific temperature
that must be fulfilled during the test. Failure to conform to any of the
parameters can imply penalties.
