Cancel Component Repair Order

Explanation

You can cancel the planned repair on the component repair order.

This could for example be when additional faults, which require a service where a specific kind of certificate must be present, are detected on the repair part. When you present this to the customer, the customer decides to scrap the repair part instead of sending it for external repair.

Canceling CRO repairs and exchanges can be done by the Cancel option. Cancel option on the header will cancel an entire component repair order. Cancel option on lines will do the individual cancellation on a selected repair or exchange. No actions can be taken for a canceled line or a canceled order. They cannot be reopened.

Prerequisites

To cancel a specific component repair order line:

• A component repair order line must have been entered and saved.
• The component repair order line must be in Planned status.

To cancel an entire component repair order:

• A component repair order must have been entered and saved.
• All component repair order lines must be in status Planned or Canceled.

System Effects

• The status for the component repair order lines is changed to Canceled and no further transactions can be performed for any lines.
• The status for the component repair order is changed to Canceled and no further transactions can be performed.
