Package conditions describe in what kind of package the repair part has been transported. Sometimes there is a requirement to document the packaging of the unit during transportation. And sometimes it is necessary to keep track of the package condition for the repair parts received from a customer. This could for example be when the very same package must be reused for returning back to the customer.
The package condition is used on component repair order (CRO) repairs and exchanges.
